We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst to strengthen the Transport team. You will bridge business and IT, ensuring requirements are captured, clarified, and delivered into innovative solutions for workforce planning, competency management, mobile apps, and Azure-based backends.
This is a senior role with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment, scope management, and end-to-end delivery in a hybrid landscape of cloud and legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and capture requirements from diverse business stakeholders.
- Analyze and optimize transport and workforce-related business processes.
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and API definitions (Swagger).
- Design workflows, sequence diagrams, and data models (BPMN/UML, JSON, SQL).
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product owners to align solutions.
- Support refinement sessions to synchronize developers, business, and QA.
- Oversee testing and UAT: define test cases, validate solutions, manage change requests.
- Ensure smooth integration with legacy systems and Azure-based cloud backends.
- Manage stakeholders and project scope (MoSCoW, acceptance criteria, stakeholder matrix).
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery, continuous improvement, and quality assurance across the lifecycle.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Science, or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- You have proven expertise in:
- Agile/Scrum frameworks and refinement practices.
- Cloud technologies (Azure, Cosmos DB).
- SQL, JSON, API definition, data structure modelling, Swagger.
- Testing/UAT support and change request management.
- Documentation tools: Jira, Confluence.
- Process modelling (BPMN/UML).
- You are experienced in working with cloud technologies and data modeling.
- You are fluent in English and fluent in either French (C2) or Dutch (C2), with proficiency in the other language.
- You are available for on-site work for at least two days per week.
