We are looking for a skilled DevOps System Engineer with strong system administration experience and proven expertise in Kubernetes and CI/CD environments. You will join a collaborative team managing a large-scale DevOps environment, ensuring stability, automation, and observability across platforms and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and enhance a Kubernetes-based DevOps environment.
- Develop automated processes for system configuration and daily operations.
- Support development teams within the DevOps landscape.
- Implement observability practices (logging, monitoring, alerting) for Kubernetes clusters and running applications.
- Design, document, and implement configuration adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, especially change management.
What are we looking for?
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- System Administration: At least 3 years of hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and managing IT systems.
- Kubernetes: 3+ years of proven expertise in managing Kubernetes environments.
- CI/CD: 3+ years of experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Logging & Monitoring: 3+ years of practical experience.
- System Expertise: Knowledge of at least one specialist system (Unix/Linux/Windows, mainframe, middleware, security, network & communication systems, AD, LDAP, email, SharePoint, Documentum, etc.).
- Language: Fluent Dutch (C2).
Should-Have Skills
- Automation tools: Terraform, Ansible.
- Scripting: Python (3+ years).
- DevOps toolset: GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, ArgoCD, Helm.
- Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Thanos.
- Experience with ITIL processes (especially change management).
- Experience with ICT infrastructure solutions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Foreman.
- Kafka.
