We’re looking for a Junior Security Consultant to support the Security, Privacy & Access team of a major energy player in strengthening organizational resilience, privacy compliance, and cyber awareness.
You’ll play an active role in implementing security and privacy initiatives, assisting the Security Officer and Data Protection Officer (DPO) in daily activities, and helping build a culture of awareness and accountability. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone eager to grow into a broader information security role.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and roll out security and privacy awareness campaigns across the organization.
- Support the Security Officer and DPO in daily operational and compliance activities.
- Contribute to security & privacy plans, projects, and risk assessments.
- Help create, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures in line with ISO 2700x best practices.
- Participate in the Security Incident Response Team.
- Provide advice and assistance to business and technical stakeholders on security and privacy matters.
What are we looking for?
- You have 1 year of experience as a Security Consultant.
- You possess a strong understanding of Information Security Management (ISO2700x).
- You have relevant experience in privacy management (DPO certification).
- You are skilled in Microsoft Azure.
- You have at least a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a technical or engineering field such as computer science or information technology.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a security consultant.
- You are familiar with cloud environments.
- You have knowledge of ITIL.
- You possess passive knowledge of Dutch and French.
- You are proficient in English at the C1 level.
