We are looking for a Data DevOps Engineer to support and modernize database environments, ensure performance and security, and help deploy new technologies that enable AI-driven data exploitation. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT, you will play a central role in maintaining critical systems while industrializing new solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and evolve relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Elasticsearch) databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and industrialization.
  • Implement and maintain automated backup and migration processes, replacing legacy stored procedures with backend functionality where needed.
  • Contribute to the setup and integration of a centralized logging platform using Kafka.
  • Support developers working on both legacy and modernized applications, ensuring secure and high-performing database structures.
  • Work on CI/CD and deployment processes across traditional servers and container orchestrators (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Contribute to the introduction of specialized data platforms such as Graph DB (Neo4j) and Vector DB (Milvus).
  • Collaborate on data modeling and standardization across multiple projects.
  • Apply DevOps practices (Git, GitLab, GitOps, Python scripting) to industrialize solutions and optimize delivery.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of expertise in PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience with Kafka and version control (Git).
  • Solid track record in database migrations, performance, and security.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Fluent in English, with active knowledge of either Dutch or French and passive knowledge of the other.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Neo4j (Graph DB) and Milvus (Vector DB).
  • Knowledge of RabbitMQ and MS SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, MinIO.
