Our client, a major player in the utility sector, is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer to join their Digital Business Solutions department. The role focuses on ensuring efficient information systems and processes while maintaining a robust security posture as technologies evolve.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage operational ISMS activities and maintain compliance with established security policies.
- Translate high-level security policies into practical, actionable procedures and guidelines for the organization.
- Perform internal security controls, monitor non-conformities, and report compliance findings.
- Manage risk registers, risk exception registers, and Risk Assessment Frameworks (RAF).
- Define and implement security improvement actions (CAPA) following audits or security incidents.
- Oversee and review the CMDB to ensure asset accuracy and security alignment.
What are we looking for?
- You possess 3+ years of experience as an Information Security Officer.
- You bring proven experience with ISMS management and non-conformity management.
- You have a strong track record in translating security policies into practical guidelines and procedures.
- You're experienced in managing risk registers and performing internal security controls.
- You possess a certification in ISO 27001 or ISO 27002.
- You have experience with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive actions) and CMDB management.
- You are fluent in English and fluent in either French or Dutch with a passive knowledge of the other.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of NIS2 domains and the ability to map them to ISO 27001:2022 controls.
- Understanding of network security, cloud environments (Azure/AWS), and IAM.
- Knowledge of ITSCM, DRP, crisis management, and BCMS.
- Familiarity with industrial environments including SCADA and RTU.
