As an ideal candidate, you are a dedicated Lead Civil Works professional with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating civil works that contribute to the ambitious goals of the Princess Elisabeth Energy Island Project.
- You report directly to the Island Package Manager and ensure effective communication between various internal packages.
- You develop a strategy for a European tender to secure a suitable civil works contractor.
- You coordinate the European tender process and collaborate with internal stakeholders like legal and procurement teams.
- You lead a lean civil works team, guiding engineers and experts in managing the design and execution of civil engineering tasks.
- You oversee the civil works contract and serve as the primary contact for the Civil Works Contractor.
- You foster a proactive safety culture among team members and stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
- You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in civil works, preferably within the construction sector.
- You possess strong experience with concrete design or construction.
- You bring familiarity with technical tenders and experience in offshore environments or difficult construction sites.
- You demonstrate commercial and contractual skills.
- You are a smooth and proactive communicator, thriving as a resourceful team player.
- You hold an engineering degree.
- You are fluent in English and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You possess or have the ability to acquire offshore certifications, which is beneficial but not mandatory.
