As part of an ongoing evolution of the IT environment and a broader effort to strengthen security, we are looking for an IT Operations Architect to improve operational structure, enhance architecture documentation and reinforce governance across the information system. The mission focuses on bringing clarity, consistency and security-by-design into daily operations while supporting teams in aligning infrastructure, processes and architecture with modern standards.
What you’ll do
- You strengthen operational governance across infrastructure and operations by structuring processes and improving incident and vulnerability management.
- You centralise, formalise and maintain technical and application architecture documentation together with infrastructure, virtualisation, network and application teams.
- You integrate performance, availability, resilience and security constraints into architecture models and ensure coherence between all IT layers.
- You contribute to improving the inventory of IT/OT assets and expanding visibility across satellite sites and technical zones.
- You prepare technical project fiches, support prioritisation of infrastructure evolution initiatives and advise teams on architecture best practices.
- You coordinate transversal activities across teams in a complex operational environment and support technical stakeholders during implementation.
- You apply security good practices and ensure alignment with relevant regulatory frameworks such as NIS2.
- You structure architectural work with clarity, ensuring proper planning, documentation and follow-up.
- You communicate effectively with both technical teams and decision-makers and maintain strong collaboration across business units.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT and bring hands-on experience in IT operations, system architecture or technical project delivery.
- You apply solid understanding of operational IT environments, including systems, networks, identity management, endpoints, cloud basics and monitoring.
- You understand and apply cybersecurity principles and relevant regulatory frameworks (NIS2).
- You structure operational processes, governance models and architecture documentation with clarity and precision.
- You use PRINCE2, TOGAF and UML at a junior–intermediate level within architecture or governance initiatives.
- You manage stakeholders proactively and communicate efficiently across technical and leadership levels.
- You operate comfortably in complex environments requiring coordination, documentation quality and disciplined follow-up.
- You are fluent in French, have at least passive knowledge of Dutch, and have a working level of English.
- Experience with Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience in change management or security-focused architecture work.
