The network team ensures the setup, security, and operations of a large-scale network that supports both industrial and office environments. The team is also engaged in a variety of projects such as building new data centre connectivity, securing cloud access, modernizing WAN infrastructure, and enabling business-critical applications across Europe.
As a Network Engineer, you will join a team supporting 24/7 company activities across both IT and OT domains. You will play a key role in ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate in both IT and OT environments, ensuring safe and well-prepared changes.
- Participate in the deployment and maintenance of network systems.
- Manage day-to-day operations, analyse and resolve incidents, and provide technical problem-solving.
- Support colleagues in Belgium and across other European sites.
What are we looking for?
Languages: Fluency in English, plus either Dutch or French.
Technical skills:
- Operational firewall knowledge (Palo Alto & Checkpoint) – must have
- Basic routing & switching knowledge (CCNA level) – must have
- Familiarity with Cisco CLI
- Experience with backend tools (monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication)
- Python scripting experience
Additional assets:
- Background in computer science
- First relevant professional experience
- OT network/security experience (nice to have)
General skills:
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to collaborate with other ICT teams
- Driving license
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to Belgian sites
