We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to support data-driven transformation initiatives within the water and sewer infrastructure domain. You’ll play a key role in improving data quality, optimizing business processes, and enabling reliable reporting across multiple departments.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze, map, and optimize business and data processes related to infrastructure management and operations.
- Define and implement data governance processes to ensure the collection and use of high-quality, reliable data.
- Support the setup of key reporting and performance dashboards.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments (e.g. investments, operations, asset management, customer service, IT).
- Lead workshops and small working groups to align stakeholders and accelerate adoption of new processes.
- Define and monitor data cleaning activities and track measurable improvements in data quality.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and communication plans to support change and user adoption.
- Anticipate issues, escalate risks, and report progress to the project manager.
- Promote a data-driven culture and act as a change ambassador within the organization.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven experience in business process development and optimization (BPM).
- Solid understanding of Lean principles (Green Belt certification or equivalent).
- Experience in data governance and data cleaning processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Dutch (CEFR level C2).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in the utilities or water management sector.
- Background in asset management or infrastructure-related projects.
- Familiarity with change management and process adoption strategies.
- Experience in data-driven reporting and continuous improvement environments.
