You will work as a Senior React Developer building and maintaining modern, user-facing web applications. Your role focuses on developing performant, maintainable front-end solutions and integrating them with backend services in a structured Agile environment.
Your responsibilities include
- Developing reusable and performant React components for production web applications.
- Translating wireframes and UI designs into functional, accessible user interfaces.
- Implementing frontend functionality based on clearly defined specifications.
- Working with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Integrating REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Managing application state using Redux or the React Context API.
- Collaborating with backend teams to ensure reliable and efficient data exchange.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Writing unit and integration tests using Jest or React Testing Library.
- Debugging issues, improving component performance, and maintaining code quality.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience.
- You have 5–10 years of hands-on experience developing applications with React or React Native.
- You have solid experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- You have hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- You have experience with state management, using Redux and/or Context API.
- You have practical experience with frontend testing, including Jest or React Testing Library.
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- You are fluent in Dutch, bonus points if you speak some French too
- Experience with one or more of the following: Tailwind CSS, Storybook, React Query, Expo, or Cypress.
- Experience working in monorepo setups, such as NX.
- Experience collaborating with design tools such as Figma.
- Exposure to UX design or research practices.
