As a System Exploitation Engineer, you’ll help ensure the availability, stability, and performance of business-critical applications and infrastructure. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary IT Operations team that manages deployments, release cycles, and service continuity across multiple environments.
This role combines technical ownership, service delivery management, and release coordination, all within an ITIL-governed, Agile-inspired environment that supports major digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical configuration and deployment of applications across non-production and production environments.
- Coordinate and execute infrastructure and application releases following approved plans.
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and continuity of business applications and middleware (e.g., ESB).
- Manage incidents, problems, and service requests in line with ITIL best practices.
- Lead service delivery processes and ensure adherence to operational KPIs.
- Oversee the production plan and scheduling of IT operations.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation or process-optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, development, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
What are we looking for?
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification (required).
Core Expertise
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Release Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Service Delivery Management.
- Proven experience with infrastructure or platform releases.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release).
- Experience with people coordination or cross-team collaboration.
- Familiar with Agile ways of working (Scrum or Kanban).
Industry & Environment
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector is a strong plus.
- Background in enterprise IT operations or managed environments.
