Our client, a leading European transmission system operator in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced professional to bridge the gap between technical IT requirements and procurement processes. The role focuses on defining IT service standards and monitoring vendor performance to ensure the reliability of critical energy infrastructure.
Your responsibilities:
- Define and document technical, operational, and security IT requirements to support the sourcing process.
- Review and validate SLA expectations to ensure alignment with IT standards and service needs.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs and coordinate with internal teams to address deviations.
- Ensure technical, SLA, and IP requirements are accurately reflected in contract drafts before execution.
- Manage intellectual property aspects and usage rights for group products.
- Translate complex IT needs into structured specifications for procurement, legal, and security stakeholders.
- Coordinate corrective actions internally to maintain high standards of vendor service delivery.
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years of relevant experience in IT service management or commercial IT roles.
- 8+ years of technical understanding regarding IT infrastructure, software, cloud services, and service delivery models.
- You possess advanced SLA literacy with the ability to interpret and monitor KPIs, uptime commitments, and escalation paths.
- You bring specialized knowledge of licensing and IP concepts, including software asset management and open-source compliance.
- You have strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical specifications for Legal and Procurement.
- You're experienced in risk awareness related to operational security and compliance gaps in contractual clauses.
- You have excellent cross-functional communication skills for collaborating with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch and/or French.
