Our client, a leading financial services organization, is strengthening its digital experience platform and back-office systems. The Senior .NET Developer will contribute to both new project development and the maintenance of existing applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions within an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET (C#) within a back-office and web environment.
- Contribute to modernization and decommissioning initiatives as well as functional changes in existing systems.
- Maintain and enhance legacy .NET Framework applications (e.g., WinForms).
- Develop and deploy Windows Services and web services hosted in IIS 10.
- Perform technical analysis and translate functional requirements into structured technical designs.
- Implement and execute component and integration tests, ensuring high code quality.
- Provide 3rd line support and actively participate in Agile ceremonies and client demos.
What are we looking for?
- You have 10+ years of experience in .NET development, primarily with C#.
- You possess strong experience in backend and service-oriented architectures, including WCF/SOAP, Web API, and SOA principles.
- You have solid expertise in relational database design and T-SQL, including stored procedures and SQL functions.
- You understand integration technologies such as XML, XSD, WSDL, REST, and JSON.
- You have experience with web technologies including ASP.NET Web Forms and hosting in IIS.
- You are experienced with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- You have experience working in Agile environments and within a DevOps culture.
- You are fluent in Dutch and have very good knowledge of English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Silverlight in combination with WCF.
- Experience setting up automation in SoapUI.
- Experience working with offshore teams.
- Azure certification such as AZ-204 or AZ-305.
- Experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
