We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a national-level program focused on License Plate Recognition
This program uses intelligent camera systems to identify and process vehicle license plates for traffic safety, law enforcement, and investigative purposes.
In this role, you’ll oversee the technical coordination and rollout of new camera connections, working closely with multiple integrators, suppliers, and internal technical teams to ensure smooth implementation, standardization, and scalability.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and monitor the integration and connection of cameras across the network.
- Identify risks, pain points, and improvement opportunities, and develop clear action plans.
- Create and maintain standard documentation and structured procedures to support large-scale rollout.
- Facilitate collaboration between integrators, suppliers, IT architects, analysts, and core users.
- Report on project progress, highlighting risks, bottlenecks, and proposed mitigations.
- Develop and apply quality management plans ensuring all deliverables meet agreed standards.
- Support project follow-up and documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Contribute to long-term planning around network and connectivity strategy for camera systems.
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years of hands-on experience managing technical IT projects.
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure, networks, and integration projects.
- Proven experience with project tracking and knowledge management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities, able to align multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with solid passive knowledge of the other national language.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with camera systems, IoT devices
- Background in public-sector or law enforcement IT environments.
- Familiarity with network provisioning or integration standards.

Location: Brussels region (minimum 2 days/week on-site)
Start Date: 1 November 2025.
Duration: Until end of 2025 (extension possible).
Contract: Freelance or Permanent.
Workload: Full-time.
