  • You collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for software solutions.
  • You align development efforts with business strategies and objectives.
  • You design, develop, test, and deploy internal applications utilizing modern programming languages and technologies.
  • You identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements.
  • You monitor and improve existing applications for performance, security, and scalability.
  • You troubleshoot technical issues and deliver swift, efficient solutions.
  • You participate in agile ceremonies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  • You are proficient in SQL and RPG ILE (Free), including embedded SQL.
  • You have experience with IBM Rational Developer and IBM Data Studio.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are a team player with good communication abilities.
  • You demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and applying emerging technologies.
  • You are familiar with agile methodologies.
  • You hold a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • You can work in a hybrid environment, being on-site 3 days a week.
  • You are proficient in English.

Location: Diegem (hybrid — 3 days/week on site)

Duration: 12 months, extendable, start ASAP

Workload: Full-time
