We’re looking for an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to strengthen the cybersecurity and digital transformation efforts of a leading international organization.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of IAM operations, process improvement, and integrations across multiple EMEA entities. You’ll combine technical hands-on work — including automation and audits — with broader responsibilities in governance, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

This position offers the chance to make a tangible impact in a mature, international IT environment with a strong focus on security, compliance, and operational continuity.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary IAM point of contact for the EMEA region.
  • Maintain and execute audit controls (weekly/monthly) and ensure full documentation accuracy.
  • Provide Level 3 support for IAM-related incidents and service requests.
  • Support new application integrations, including SSO and (de)provisioning setup.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g. PowerShell) and API flows for process efficiency.
  • Continuously improve IAM processes and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure secure and consistent IAM operations.

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in IAM or a related field.
  • You possess knowledge of ITSM tools and processes.
  • You have basic knowledge of Identity Providers such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, etc.
  • You demonstrate analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • You are self-motivated and able to take ownership of your domain.
  • You are flexible and a proactive team player.
  • You are familiar with O365 tools.
  • You have scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell).
  • You are proficient in English.

What do we offer?

  • Enjoy a competitive salary package with extra perks that recognize your talent.
  • Advance your career with a clear growth path, coaching, and mentoring to support you.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can truly make an impact.
  • Work when and where you perform best, ensuring an optimal work-life balance.
  • Choose a flexible transport solution, from a company car to a public transport subscription.
  • Expand your network and enjoy unforgettable moments at exclusive events and afterworks.
  • Grow your skills with external courses and our in-house Pauwels Academy.
  • Work on exciting projects with industry leaders in Life Sciences, Engineering & Digital.
  • Seize opportunities at every level, from a strong start to career acceleration and expert collaboration.
