Our client, a leading engineering competence centre in infrastructure and integration, is looking for a CAD Designer Civil 3D. This role contributes to the design and development of railway-related infrastructure projects, including roads, platforms, and hydraulic solutions within a multidisciplinary project environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Collect and consolidate data regarding existing and future site conditions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Develop complete 2D and 3D designs for service roads, site access, car parks, and railway platforms.
- Design hydraulic solutions and infrastructure for the removal of level crossings.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to prepare design plans for technical specifications and permit applications.
- Work according to BIM principles while preparing, verifying, and archiving plans according to quality requirements.
What are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Civil Engineering, Topography, or equivalent.
- You possess 3+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years focused on linear infrastructure.
- You bring advanced experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, specifically with surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks.
- You have a good understanding of ACC principles and the ability to model projects in 3D based on technical data.
- You are communicative, precise, and able to work autonomously within a team.
- You are proficient in at least two of the following languages: Dutch, French, and English.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of Dynamo, BIM methodologies, and topography.
- Experience in road design, earthworks, or environmental permit applications.
- Preference for a combination of French and Dutch.
