We are looking for a Senior Service Designer with more than 5 years of experience in customer research and product development. In this role, you will bridge strategy, research, and design, ensuring that customer insights are translated into real impact across products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams in selecting the right mix of customer research methods to involve users objectively.
- Bring specialist expertise in UX research, strengthening the knowledge of the Service Design team.
- Further develop and implement customer research practices across the organization.
- Guide UX and policy staff in conducting interviews, surveys, user labs, and data research.
- Create and execute user research plans for various teams.
- Help policy makers identify the real needs of customers in innovation projects.
- Promote a data-driven approach to product development.
- Act as a coach and facilitator, connecting different roles and keeping both the helicopter view and the detail focus as needed.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of Service Design, UX, User Research
- Strong business knowledge, ideally within customer-facing services.
- Data analytics skills; familiarity with data access layers is a plus.
- Background in marketing and communication.
- Knowledge of ICT in customer-facing contexts.
- Languages: Dutch (fluent) and English (fluent).
- Technical familiarity with tools such as Adobe Campaign or Python is a plus, but not the core of the role.
