Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Category Manager to oversee a specific spend area within their supply operations. This role focuses on developing end-to-end sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships to drive value, innovation, and supply chain resilience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end sourcing strategies for a defined procurement portfolio in alignment with broader business goals.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and value creation initiatives to secure supply and achieve cost savings across the network.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and manage the lifecycle of Master agreements with key partners.
  • Provide insights into market dynamics and benchmarking to identify potential new suppliers and innovative ideas.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP regulatory requirements and guidelines for all procurement activities.
  • Embed risk management strategies into contracts and supply frameworks to minimize disruption.
  • Foster strategic supplier relationship management to drive long-term value in quality and innovation.

What are we looking for?

  • You have a Master's degree.
  • You bring experience in category management and strategic sourcing within a regulated environment.
  • You possess knowledge of GxP standards and supply chain risk management.
  • You have experience in complex contract negotiation and contracting lifecycle management.
  • You're proficient in project management and data analysis methodologies.
  • You possess strong strategic thinking skills, flexibility, and high ethical standards.
  • You are fluent in English.
