- You act as the automation lead within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating closely with equipment engineers.
- You define and manage the automation scope for new production lines and machinery.
- You collaborate with multiple machine builders, ensuring compliance with internal standards and technical specifications.
- You contribute to the conceptual design, including interfacing, automation architecture, and drafting RFQs with equipment engineers.
- You follow up on the detailed design phase, including hardware components and software functionality while managing deviations from standards and escalation as needed.
- You support and actively participate in commissioning and line start-up at project locations.
- You review and contribute to technical documentation and software design decisions, and challenge electrical schematics.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- You have 4–5 years of experience in automation project engineering within an industrial environment.
- You have experience with machine builders; experience in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- You possess strong knowledge of industrial automation platforms such as Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens.
- You are familiar with hybrid software concepts and interfacing between systems.
- You bring strong communication skills and can stand firm in technical discussions with external suppliers.
- You have a hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership throughout the project lifecycle.
- You are proficient in English.
