As the ideal candidate, you are a dedicated Construction Safety Coordinator who excels in ensuring that all construction activities are performed with safety as a priority. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to fostering a culture of safety on site.
- You coordinate construction activities and liaise with the Host Site EHS team.
- You review safe methods of working ahead of the commencement of tasks.
- You lead daily safe work planning sessions, such as SPA, RAMS, and PTW.
- You participate in daily prestart workforce safety briefings.
- You participate in safety meetings and lead daily safety walks of the site.
- You assist in incident investigations and ensure all incidents are reported.
- You ensure that workers carry out tasks only for which they are trained and qualified.
What are we looking for?
- You have experience in construction management of medium and large capital projects.
- You have EHS experience.
- You possess strong project and people management skills with thorough knowledge of construction.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You hold a university or college degree in engineering or EHS.
- You have formal safety professional certification.
- You are proficient in MS Office.
- You are proficient in English at a business level.
- You are fluent in French.
