Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Reference Standard Owner to support a highly regulated GMP environment. This role manages the full lifecycle of assigned reference standards, ensuring that all qualification and requalification activities meet the highest quality standards and compliance requirements.
Your responsibilities:
- Define and manage the qualification strategy for assigned reference standards.
- Coordinate internal and external laboratory testing to ensure on-time certification.
- Evaluate test packages and analytical results to determine storage conditions and retest periods.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis and maintain records within the reference standard management system.
- Lead investigations and document deviations or CAPAs using the TrackWise system.
- Ensure full compliance with current GMP and EHS guidelines and regulations.
What are we looking for?
- You have a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- You bring strong technical knowledge of chromatographic techniques including LC, UPLC, GC, GC-headspace, and wet chemistry.
- You possess knowledge of spectrometric characterization techniques such as LC-MS, GC-MS, and NMR.
- You have a good understanding of analytical techniques like specific optical rotation, TGA, DSC, IR, and DVS.
- You bring experience with quality systems and tools such as GMP, TrackWise, and CAPA management.
- You possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and a detail-oriented approach.
- You are fluent in English.
