- You oversee the effective implementation of security policies.
- You conduct regular technical assessments of IT systems.
- You respond promptly to crises, including organized attacks and network intrusions.
- You develop contingency plans to address potential security scenarios.
- You provide technical advice on securing external connections and intranet access.
- You identify security vulnerabilities across various operating systems.
- You perform risk analysis and present findings to management.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a degree in Computer Science or Electronics.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- You possess hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, mandatory for at least 5 years, with knowledge of Panorama.
- You have at least 5 years of experience with VPN and Web Proxy solutions.
- You bring over 10 years of expertise with BIG IP F5.
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are adaptable and proactive in dynamic environments.
- You have the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- You can write clear and concise reports and documentation.
- You are familiar with client-oriented approaches.
- You are preferably bilingual in French and Dutch or have sufficient basic knowledge of a second national language.
- You possess a solid understanding of technical English.
- You have a deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SNMP.
- You are experienced with routers and firewalls, specifically Palo Alto products.
- Your knowledge includes endpoint protection products and virus protection systems.
- You are familiar with content inspection engines for messaging and web browsing.
- You are experienced with monitoring and log correlation tools such as Splunk, Nessus, ELK.
- Your skill set covers Microsoft Windows Azure, Server, and Enterprise Linux Server (preferably RedHat).
- You understand wireless network security protocols, such as WiFi, WEP, WPA, WPA2.
- You are knowledgeable of encryption principles and algorithms, including Public Key, Private Key, RSA, DES, 3DES, AES.
- You possess the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- You are capable of adjusting quickly to changing situations.
- You are meticulous and precise in your work.
- Your creativity and solutions orientation drive positive outcomes.
- You are proficient in Dutch, English, and French.
- Your availability starts from December 16, 2025.
- You will work on a full-time basis with a hybrid model, requiring at least 2 days per week in the office.
- The project team consists of multidisciplinary professionals, including both internal and external team members.
