We are seeking a Senior Project Manager in Cybersecurity to lead strategic initiatives around Privileged Access Management (PAM) and compliance with the NIS2 directive. This role will focus on the deployment of PAM solutions – in particular CyberArk – and on driving organisational security maturity through governance, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
You’ll work closely with executives, technical teams, and external partners to ensure compliance, resilience, and long-term alignment between cybersecurity initiatives and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the NIS2 roadmap across the organisation.
- Manage the deployment and optimisation of CyberArk PAM solutions (PVWA, CPM, PSM, Vault).
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth delivery.
- Monitor regulatory developments related to NIS2 and adjust project activities accordingly.
- Oversee risk management and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Optimise processes to strengthen security posture and resilience.
- Support communication and training initiatives to raise awareness around NIS2 requirements.
What are we looking for?
- Proven expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM), with deep knowledge of CyberArk design, deployment, and integration in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in cybersecurity architecture, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex cybersecurity projects with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices (change, configuration, release management).
- Familiarity with access governance, incident response, and privilege misuse detection.
- Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and service delivery oversight.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at both executive and technical levels.
- Strategic mindset, focused on PAM maturity, optimisation, and business alignment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent through experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP/Prince2, CISSP, CISM, ITIL).
- CyberArk certifications (CDE, Trustee, or Defender) are a strong plus.
- Dutch or French: native or bilingual proficiency.
- English: full professional proficiency.
