Purpose of the Mission (Project & Department Description)
The Belgium Engineering Center of Excellence is, among other areas of expertise, responsible for implementing health authorities' Facility Design requirements for all manufacturing buildings in Wavre and Rixensart.
A new task has been introduced: implementing internal GSK standards, specifically the Global Engineering Facility Design requirements – Engineering Standard (ES).
The candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of this new standard through several steps:
- Conducting a gap analysis between the ES and Belgium SOPs.
- Supporting and leading risk assessment issuance for each Manufacturing Unit (MU) with local SMEs (covering 12 buildings).
- Following up and tracking progress on assessment issuance according to milestones.
- Participating in assessments to standardize evidence and evaluation across MUs (ensuring consistent responses to requirements, suggesting controls or mitigations, and identifying gaps).
- Potentially supporting MUs in developing remediation plans for identified gaps.
Additionally, the candidate will lead reporting activities to the ES Duty Holder and sponsor.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support risk assessments.
- Ability to direct projects, manage various project phases, and coordinate project teams.
- Responsible for projects and providing assistance to stream leads and clients.
