As the ideal candidate, you are a proficient Engineer for Real-time Control of Production Units with expertise in managing and modeling complex systems. Your attention to detail, technical acumen, and collaborative spirit are essential for this role.
- You develop expertise in the PowerFactory tool, the EMS tool, and other applications aligned with your specialization.
- You coordinate the planning and implementation of new production units and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring accurate representation in the EMS and PowerFactory.
- You oversee real-time information exchange between clients and Elia, managing secure communications and addressing client inquiries related to signal transmission.
- You actively monitor compliance with real-time signal exchanges, ensuring they meet Elia’s requirements.
- You assist dispatching and your team with technical support for activating flexibility on new units.
- You help design and document data flows and processes, implementing improvements or standardizations as necessary.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Master’s degree in a technical field such as telecommunications, energy, electrical engineering, or electromechanics.
- You have a basic understanding of high-voltage network modeling, particularly concerning generation and storage assets.
- You are a strong team player with initiative and structured work habits.
- You possess clear communication skills, especially in client interactions.
- You are flexible and customer-oriented in your approach.
- You pay close attention to detail, articulating technical positions fluently to clients.
- You can work with highly critical systems, exercising caution and sound decision-making.
- You are familiar with Elia’s operations, which is a plus.
- You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French, with a willingness to learn the other language.
