You will join a cloud-native platform team operating at the intersection of infrastructure, DevOps, and AI enablement.

The environment supports data scientists and analysts across the full lifecycle of data processing, model training, deployment, and monitoring, including Generative AI use cases.

You will work on a shared, scalable AWS-based platform that must meet high standards for reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency. This role suits senior engineers who enjoy building and operating robust cloud platforms, enabling others to work effectively with data and AI rather than building end-user products themselves.

Your responsibilities include

• Designing and building cloud-native platform services on AWS.
• Managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform.
• Configuring and operating AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Kinesis, and networking components.
• Supporting containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Building and automating data and model pipelines using Python, Apache Airflow, and Apache Spark.
• Enabling model training, storage, serving, and monitoring at scale.
• Exposing AI models via APIs for batch and low-latency use cases.
• Supporting Generative AI initiatives and experimentation.
• Ensuring platform reliability, performance, scalability, and cost control.
• Handling complex incidents, root cause analysis, and operational improvements.
