We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team building high-performance software that supports real-time operations across a complex, security-critical environment. You’ll design and integrate modern applications that process large volumes of data, connect distributed systems, and enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
This role combines hands-on coding with architectural awareness — ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys working end-to-end, from backend logic to user-facing components, in a modern DevSecOps setting.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain robust, scalable full-stack web applications (PHP, TypeScript, JavaScript).
- Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Develop integrations using RESTful APIs, message brokering, and hybrid cloud/on-premise services.
- Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and QA to deliver secure, maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support secure deployment processes.
- Support simulation and performance testing in lab environments.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong command of PHP, TypeScript, and JavaScript, plus familiarity with frameworks such as Laravel, Lumen, or Silex.
- Proven experience with PostgreSQL (PGSQL).
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong Linux skills, including scripting and command-line fluency.
- Experience with Git and GitLab.
- Solid understanding of API design, authentication standards (JWT, OAuth2), and security best practices.
- Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, OpenShift, Nutanix, HashiCorp).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with document-oriented databases (MongoDB, OpenSearch, ELK).
- Exposure to robot frameworks and automated testing.
- Background in simulation/modelling environments.
- Understanding of DevOps orchestration and secure deployment pipelines.
