- You translate client requirements into a precise technical design for equipment, piping, and mechanical components.
- You execute conceptual designs and basic engineering for projects, including layout, design, and calculations.
- You investigate and propose a variety of technical solutions for specific engineering needs.
- You provide input for HAZOP risk analyses and ensure adequate measures are implemented in the design.
- You participate in procurement activities related to projects, overseeing the process from inquiry to invoicing.
- You prepare budgets and contribute to project planning within your discipline.
- You discuss the construction file with site supervisors and provide technical support during project execution and startup.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Master's Degree in Engineering (preferably electromechanics) or have equivalent experience.
- You have over 10 years of relevant experience in designing process equipment installations.
- You possess strong technical skills in calculations such as heat and mass balances, and equipment design.
- You are proficient in AutoCAD and capable of using 2D and 3D visualization software.
- You exhibit strong organizational skills and are disciplined, working autonomously.
- You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be both a team player and decision-maker.
- You have a valid VCA certification.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Basic knowledge of German and French is a plus.
- You are open to being on-site in Olen for a minimum of 3 days a week.
