We are searching for a skilled mechanical project engineer to take on challenging projects that push the boundaries of technology and efficiency.

As an ideal candidate, you are a seasoned mechanical project engineer ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic team. If you have a background in mechanical and process installations, and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions, we want to hear from you.

  • You translate client requirements into a precise technical design for equipment, piping, and mechanical components.
  • You execute conceptual designs and basic engineering for projects, including layout, design, and calculations.
  • You investigate and propose a variety of technical solutions for specific engineering needs.
  • You provide input for HAZOP risk analyses and ensure adequate measures are implemented in the design.
  • You participate in procurement activities related to projects, overseeing the process from inquiry to invoicing.
  • You prepare budgets and contribute to project planning within your discipline.
  • You discuss the construction file with site supervisors and provide technical support during project execution and startup.

What are we looking for?

  • You hold a Master's Degree in Engineering (preferably electromechanics) or have equivalent experience.
  • You have over 10 years of relevant experience in designing process equipment installations.
  • You possess strong technical skills in calculations such as heat and mass balances, and equipment design.
  • You are proficient in AutoCAD and capable of using 2D and 3D visualization software.
  • You exhibit strong organizational skills and are disciplined, working autonomously.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be both a team player and decision-maker.
  • You have a valid VCA certification.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Basic knowledge of German and French is a plus.
  • You are open to being on-site in Olen for a minimum of 3 days a week.
