Join a dedicated and dynamic team where your expertise will support vital projects in the railway infrastructure sector. We seek an experienced CAD Designer ready to make a significant impact in maintaining and enhancing our railway network.
As an ideal candidate, you are a skilled CAD Designer with a passion for creating precise and high-quality technical drawings. Your attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and collaborative spirit will shine in this position.
- You produce accurate technical drawings for railway installations during study and execution phases.
- You update existing installation plans in line with renovation and maintenance needs.
- You convert project input and technical specifications into final approved drawings.
- You apply Infrabel-specific electrical and signalling symbols and drafting standards.
- You work closely with other technical draftsmen and report progress to the design office manager.
- You occasionally support night/weekend/holiday work activities when required.
What are we looking for?
- You have senior-level experience (10–14 years) in CAD design, ideally within infrastructure or industrial environments.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on CAD, or equivalent experience.
- You are proficient in AutoCAD with 5+ years of experience, required for electrical and infrastructural drawings.
- You have experience with Autodesk Vault (3–5 years), essential for document and version management.
- You are knowledgeable in electrical schematic interpretation with 5+ years of experience, familiar with Infrabel-specific electrical symbol libraries.
- You possess solid soft skills: you are accurate, creative, methodical, and capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
- You are team-oriented, structured, and capable of working independently when required.
- You are proficient in French or Dutch, with working knowledge of the other language as an asset.
