As the ideal candidate, you are a skilled Expert CTB & Geotechniek with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. If you thrive on collaboration and have a keen eye for detail, this position is aligned with your expertise.
- You contribute your expertise to designs and projects from the client’s perspective.
- You evaluate contractors' designs and create your own designs/advice based on B 260.
- You engage in discussions about complex geo- and civil engineering issues, answering technical questions from design and execution teams.
- You offer pragmatic advice based on your expertise regarding efficient construction methods for projects.
- You brainstorm creative design solutions and economically viable designs.
- You start your day by reviewing calculations.
- You participate in a meeting about a technical issue, subsequently addressing the inquiry per established processes.
- You attend a meeting with Technical Managers to provide necessary advice.
- You keep track of your mailbox to ensure effective project coordination.
What are we looking for?
- You hold an engineering degree in construction, civil engineering, or hydraulic engineering.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience with current technical knowledge in the design and calculation of metal and concrete structures, renovation and maintenance techniques of civil structures, and construction material technology.
- You have experience in stability calculations of civil engineering works and geotechnics.
- You possess excellent spoken and written proficiency in the Dutch language.
- You are available for at least 0.8-1 FTE, to be filled by one person.
- You are willing to be present at least 3 days a week at the office or site in Antwerp.
