- You coordinate and monitor construction activities on site under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- You ensure the quality of works by reviewing plans, specifications, and execution methods.
- You follow up on commissioning procedures in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- You guarantee the safe execution of work, especially regarding the excavation of existing pipelines and cables.
- You oversee compliance with daily safety regulations and standards.
- You manage the project schedule and ensure timely execution of tasks in coordination with various stakeholders.
- You monitor the budget by verifying performed tasks and following up on work according to contracts.
- You handle administrative tasks related to project execution, including orders and equipment reception.
- You effectively use digital applications for project management.
What are we looking for?
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction/Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field; a diploma in Land Surveying is a plus.
- You have initial experience on site.
- You possess a strong command of Dutch and French, both spoken and written.
- You have experience in the piping sector, which is considered an advantage.
- You are adept at using digital tools and software applications.
- You exhibit initiative, organizational skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- You have excellent communication skills and flexibility.
- You are proactive and can communicate effectively.
- You hold a VCA certificate for Operational Managers and a certification in Industrial First Aid, achieving these within 3 months if not currently certified.
- You possess a recent BA5 diploma or are willing to obtain it within 3 months.
- You are open to travel between various project sites in Belgium, which may require overnight stays.
- You are able to work 40 hours per week.
- You may be required to work limited overtime at certain sites.
- You are available to start as soon as possible.
- You have a compassionate and detail-oriented demeanor.
- You are proficient in English as well.
