Senior Business Analyst – Data & Asset Management
East Flanders

Reference number: 92392

You will work on a large-scale transformation initiative within the utilities domain, focused on modernising asset data and geographic information systems in response to climate challenges, regulatory requirements, and the growing importance of data-driven decision-making. As Data Quality & Migration Coordinator, you play a central coordinating role between business teams, field operations, management, and the project team. Your mission is to structurally improve data quality, not only through technical migration activities, but by embedding sustainable processes and ownership within the organisation.

You translate data-quality ambitions into a concrete, executable plan, build organisational buy-in, coordinate execution across stakeholders, and continuously monitor and report progress toward quality objectives. While you work within a project team, you are personally accountable for achieving your data-quality goals.

Your role

  • You define and drive a structured plan to sustainably improve data quality across asset and GIS data.
  • You act as the bridge between business stakeholders, field teams, management, and the project organisation, aligning expectations and responsibilities.
  • You coordinate data migration and data cleaning activities, working closely with technical teams and business experts.
  • You establish clear ownership, roles, and responsibilities related to data quality, and ensure alignment and follow-up with the relevant stakeholders.
  • You monitor progress against data-quality objectives, report transparently, and proactively adjust or escalate when risks or issues arise.
  • You support and motivate stakeholders to adopt improved data-capture and data-management practices, helping turn resistance into engagement.
  • You analyse, describe, report, and present data-quality insights in a clear and actionable way.
  • You contribute to change management activities by creating awareness, building trust, and ensuring sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
  • You collaborate within a broader transformation programme and contribute to alignment across related initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • You have proven experience coordinating projects and organising work across multiple stakeholders.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience coordinating projects or initiatives in a complex organisational environment.
  • You have experience as a business analyst or in a similar role within large organisations.

  • You have experience with change management and stakeholder management, and know how to create buy-in across different levels of the organisation.
  • You have experience improving or optimising business processes.
  • You hold a Master’s degree.
  • You are fluent in Dutch (CEFR C2).
