Our client, a globally recognized institute specializing in innovative nuclear systems and sustainable energy solutions, is seeking an experienced professional to support a major reactor development program. The role focuses on providing high-level project scheduling and strategic planning for large-scale engineering and design studies within an international consortium.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Project Structure (EPS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), ensuring alignment with SAP ERP systems.
  • Create, update, and manage detailed project schedules and activity networks within Primavera P6.
  • Assign and manage resources at the activity level and establish baseline schedules for various program components.
  • Integrate schedules from external partners and contractors into the global program planning.
  • Perform Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and calculate performance indicators such as SPI and CPI.
  • Organize and lead schedule review meetings with project leads to optimize planning data.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and identify critical path bottlenecks, scope changes, and planning consequences.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports, including S-curves and quarterly performance summaries.

What are we looking for?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics Technology, or Logistics Management.
  • You have 10+ years experience in project planning for complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
  • You possess 10+ years of expert experience with Primavera P6.
  • You have proven experience calculating Earned Value (EVA), performance indicators (SPI/CPI), and S-curves.
  • You can provide 5+ references for similar assignments in high-tech sectors such as Nuclear, Pharma, (Petro)chemical, or R&D.
  • You are fluent in Dutch (C1/C2) with a B2 level of English and A1/A2 level of French.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP Project System (SAP-PS).
  • Ability to structure complex work processes into clear conceptual frameworks.
